Nazifa Sultana, Au.D., CCC-A
Nazifa Sultana, Au.D., initially joined the Ear, Nose & Throat Center as a fourth year resident in June 2021. She earned her M.B.B.S (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree from the Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh and her Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree from Louisiana Tech University. Alongside her residency, she performed research investigating the effect of cognitive function on speech in noise performance among older adults with hearing loss. After finishing her residency and earning her doctorate, she decided to continue as part of our audiology team starting June 2022.
Dr. Sultana holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA). She resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with her wonderful daughter, loving husband, and two cute cats– Pumpkin and Latte. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her succulent garden.
